Can eating on a schedule, with coaching, reverse key heart disease risk factors?
NCT ID NCT07389603
Summary
This study is testing if limiting daily eating to a specific 8 or 10-hour window can improve health for people with metabolic syndrome, a cluster of conditions that raise heart disease and diabetes risk. Researchers are also testing if adding psychological and educational support helps people stick to the eating schedule better. The 8-week program involves 64 adults in Mexico, measuring changes in weight, waist size, blood pressure, and cholesterol.
