First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether limiting eating to a 10-hour window each day is a safe and practical addition to standard treatment for bipolar disorder. Forty adults with bipolar I or II who are currently experiencing depression will either receive nutritional counseling alone or combine it with time-restricted eating for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure how many people stick with the plan and whether it improves mood, sleep, and thinking.
