Immune cells harvested from tumors could fight cancer in new trial
NCT ID NCT07294872
First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests a therapy made from a patient's own immune cells (called TILs) that are taken from their tumor, multiplied in a lab, and then given back through an IV. The goal is to see if this treatment is safe and can shrink tumors in adults with advanced solid cancers who have not responded to standard treatments. About 30 participants will receive the cell infusion along with short-term chemotherapy to prepare their immune system.
