Summary
This study tested whether using only the blood thinner ticagrelor (and no aspirin) after heart attack stenting is safe. It included 200 adults who had a stent placed for a heart attack. The main goal was to see if this approach reduced the risk of serious heart problems or stent clots within 3 months.
