First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether people who have had a transient ischemic attack (TIA or 'mini-stroke') experience lasting, subtle speech difficulties. Researchers will test 30 people who recently had a TIA, along with 60 people without TIA, using speaking tasks and questionnaires. The goal is to better understand these hidden communication problems and guide future care.
