Summary
This study tests whether using a smaller breathing tube (6.0 or 6.5 mm) during thyroid surgery causes less sore throat afterward compared to the standard 7.0 mm tube. It involves 180 women aged 18-65 who are having thyroid surgery. Researchers will check how many women have a sore throat and how bad it is at 1, 6, 24, and 48 hours after surgery.
