Summary
This study tested whether adding two targeted drugs (trametinib and dabrafenib) could make radioactive iodine treatment work again for people with advanced thyroid cancer that had stopped responding to it. The trial involved 40 adults whose cancer had spread and had specific genetic mutations (RAS or BRAFV600E). The goal was to see if this drug combination could shrink tumors and control the disease.
