First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study follows 107 thyroid cancer patients to see how their metabolism differs when they prepare for radioiodine therapy using either Thyrogen injections or by temporarily stopping their thyroid medication (Eltroxin). Researchers will measure depression symptoms, body composition, and various blood markers. The goal is to understand the effects of each method, not to test a new treatment.
