Summary

This study looked at three treatments for thumb arthritis: a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection, a steroid injection, or a placebo (salt water) injection. The goal was to see which one improved hand function and pinch strength the best. The study was stopped early and included 74 people with early-stage thumb arthritis.
