First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding gentle back-spine movements to standard shoulder therapy can better relieve pain, improve range of motion, and restore function in people with frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis). About 34 adults aged 40–65 with stage 2 or 3 frozen shoulder will be randomly assigned to receive either shoulder-only treatment or shoulder plus thoracic spine mobilization. The goal is to see if addressing the upper back helps the shoulder heal more effectively.
