This study tested a mobile app called ThinkSono Guidance that helps healthcare workers like nurses perform ultrasound scans to detect blood clots in the legs. Over 600 adults with symptoms of deep vein thrombosis took part. The app guided non-specialists to get good-quality images and accurately identify patients who needed urgent care.
