Needle heat zaps belly wall tumors, spares patients major surgery
NCT ID NCT07213050
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a minimally invasive procedure that uses heat (radiofrequency or microwave) to destroy abnormal growths in the abdominal wall, such as cancer spread, desmoid tumors, or endometriosis. It involves 30 people who cannot have surgery or choose not to. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and effective, with less pain and faster recovery than traditional surgery.
