Summary
This study tested a special mouth rinse (THERAVEX®) to see if it could reduce the burning pain in people with Primary Burning Mouth Syndrome, a condition with no clear cause. 116 adults rinsed with either the test rinse or a placebo for 8 weeks. The main goal was to measure changes in pain intensity using a standard pain scale.
