This pilot study tested a text message program to help people gradually reduce and quit smokeless tobacco. 69 adults who used smokeless tobacco at least 3 times a day took part. The program sent scheduled texts over 6 weeks, and some participants also got a live text coach. The study measured how well the program worked and if people found it useful.
