Summary

This study tested a combination of testosterone therapy and a special type of electrical stimulation to rebuild leg muscle in 12 people with spinal cord injury. Participants had severe muscle loss because nerves to their legs were damaged. The goal was to see if this approach could safely increase muscle size and improve health. The study was completed, but results are not yet reported.
