First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods to help bring an undescended testicle down into the scrotum in boys. About 58 children with testicles that cannot be felt will be randomly assigned to have either the blood vessels cut or tied off during the first stage of a two-step surgery. The goal is to see which method allows the testicle to move closer to its normal position and maintain healthy size.
