Mini-Tumor test could guide cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT06686342
Summary
This study aims to see if a new lab test using tiny, lab-grown tumor models (called organoids) can accurately predict which cancer drugs will work for individual patients. Researchers will collect tumor samples from 100 people with advanced head and neck cancer, grow the models, and test drugs on them. They will then compare the lab results to how well the same drugs actually work for the patients to see if the test is a reliable predictor.
