Tiny patients try new, softer breathing masks
NCT ID NCT06833294
Summary
This study tested new designs for the masks and prongs used to deliver non-invasive breathing support to young children. The goal was to see if these new 'GentleFit' designs fit small faces better, delivered air pressure correctly, and were more comfortable than standard masks. The study involved a small group of children, aged from newborn to 3 years, who were already stable on breathing support.
