Summary
This study is testing a small, wireless chest sensor called the PneumoRator that continuously measures breathing rate. Researchers will attach it to 50 patients having major surgery and compare its readings to current hospital monitoring methods during and after their operations. The goal is to see if this comfortable, wearable device can accurately track breathing around the clock, which might help doctors detect problems earlier.
