Summary
This study tested a program called Tertulias (Spanish for 'conversational gatherings') for Mexican immigrant women in Albuquerque. 241 women joined either the peer support groups or a control group. The goal was to see if these culturally tailored chats could lower depression, boost resilience, and increase social support over 12 months. Results are being analyzed.
