Drug trial tests early intervention for kids at high risk of diabetes

Summary
This study is testing the safety and how the body processes teplizumab in very young children who show early signs of type 1 diabetes but don't yet have symptoms. About 20 children under age 8 will receive daily infusions of the drug for 14 days. Researchers will monitor the children's health and track how the drug behaves in their bodies over approximately 26 months.
