First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tests whether a device that sends mild electrical pulses through the skin (TENS) can relieve kidney stone pain as well as a common painkiller (dexketoprofen trometamol). About 128 adults with kidney stone pain will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments in the emergency department. The main goal is to see how much pain drops within 30 minutes.
