New combo therapy for tennis elbow shows promise in small trial

NCT ID NCT07576140

First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tested two hands-on therapies for tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) in 44 adults aged 18-55. One group got standard care plus two special techniques—mobilization with movement and active release—while the other got standard care alone. The goal was to see if the combo reduced pain and improved grip strength and daily function over 4 weeks. Results could offer a drug-free option for easing symptoms.
