New study tests simple hand movement for lasting tennis elbow relief
NCT ID NCT07589725
First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a gentle, hands-on movement technique called Mulligan Mobilization with Movement (MWM) to a standard exercise program can reduce pain and improve grip strength and daily function in people with tennis elbow. About 45 adults with elbow pain lasting at least 3 months will be randomly assigned to receive either MWM plus exercise, a fake (sham) MWM plus exercise, or exercise alone. Researchers will check results right after treatment and again at 3 and 6 months to see if any benefits last.
