First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding a specific type of exercise (combined isotonic) to standard shockwave therapy works better for tennis elbow than shockwave alone or with eccentric exercise. Forty adults with long-lasting elbow pain took part. They received weekly shockwave therapy and did supervised exercises three times a week for five weeks. The goal was to see which approach best reduces pain and improves grip strength and daily function.
