New pill shows promise for blood sugar control
NCT ID NCT00998881
Summary
This study tested whether a new drug called MP-513 (later named Teneligliptin) could safely lower blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. For 12 weeks, 203 Japanese adults took either the drug or a placebo pill. The main goal was to see how much it reduced a key long-term blood sugar marker called HbA1c.
