Belly band could save new mothers from deadly bleeding

Summary
This study tests a device called AAJT-S, a temporary abdominal tourniquet, to quickly stop severe bleeding after childbirth when standard treatments don't work. About 20 women with heavy bleeding will have the device placed around their belly and inflated. The goal is to see if bleeding stops within 5 minutes and to check for any side effects.
