First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study will use advanced MRI scans to see how the heart changes after minimally invasive procedures to fix leaky mitral or tricuspid valves. Researchers will follow 250 adults who are scheduled for these procedures, using MRI and 3D ultrasound before and after treatment. The goal is to learn which patients benefit most and why, helping doctors improve long-term outcomes.
