First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at two different ways to help people with high blood pressure exercise at home using technology. One group did exercises with a physiotherapist watching and guiding them live through video calls. The other group followed pre-recorded exercise videos on their own. Over 8 weeks, researchers measured how each method affected exercise ability, daily blood pressure, heart function, and self-management. The study included 31 adults aged 18 to 65 with high blood pressure who had internet access and a suitable device.
