Home-Based video rehab matches clinic results for shoulder recovery
NCT ID NCT07205094
Summary
This study tested whether physical therapy delivered through video calls (telerehabilitation) works as well as traditional in-person therapy for people recovering from rotator cuff surgery. Thirty participants followed an 8-week exercise program either at home via video or in a clinic. Both groups improved in pain, shoulder movement, strength, and quality of life, with the video group showing some extra benefits in certain movements and overall well-being.
