NCT ID NCT06697262
First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This pilot study tests whether a remote temperature monitoring device can help families track fever in children undergoing chemotherapy who are at risk of a serious infection called febrile neutropenia. About 30 children with cancer and their families, who have social or emotional challenges, will either use a continuous monitoring device at home or have a nurse visit twice daily. The main goal is to see if families accept and can use the device properly, and if it works well enough to be used in a larger future study.
