Summary
This study looks at whether a direct-to-patient teledermatology app and an artificial intelligence system can make it easier and faster for veterans to get skin care. Researchers will track wait times, travel distance, and satisfaction among over 63,000 new dermatology patients at three VA hospitals. The goal is to see if remote visits and computer-assisted diagnosis can improve access without sacrificing quality.
