First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study compares online anesthesia consultations to traditional in-person visits for children having tonsil or adenoid surgery. The goal is to see if video calls are equally effective at preventing breathing problems during and after surgery. About 106 children will take part, and researchers will track any breathing issues in the operating room and for 24 hours after the procedure.
