Remote balance checks for seniors put to the test
NCT ID NCT07178028
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a balance test for older adults (the Fullerton Advanced Balance Scale) gives the same results when done over a video call as it does face-to-face. About 52 people aged 65 and older who can walk on their own will take the test both ways. The goal is to see if remote balance checks are reliable enough to help assess fall risk when in-person visits aren't possible.
