Summary

This trial tests whether a six-week relaxation training program, delivered by a physiotherapist via video call, can help postmenopausal women with symptoms like hot flashes, poor sleep, and fatigue. Thirty women in early menopause will be randomly assigned to either the relaxation program or no structured intervention. The study measures changes in sleep quality, menopausal symptoms, and fatigue using questionnaires and a sleep-tracking app.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
relaxation training delivered via tele-rehabilitation
What this could lead to
If effective, this approach could offer a non-drug option for managing menopausal symptoms, sleep problems, and fatigue.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 30 participants, so results may not apply widely. The intervention requires consistent participation and a smartphone.
