First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether a simpler two-drug combination (tegoprazan and amoxicillin) works better than the standard four-drug treatment for eradicating H. pylori, a bacteria that can cause stomach ulcers. 370 adults with H. pylori infection participated. The goal was to see if the two-drug approach could achieve higher eradication rates with fewer side effects. Results will help doctors choose the best first-line treatment.
