Summary
This study looked at whether juvenile probation officers (JPOs) can use a method called Contingency Management (CM) to help teens on their caseload who have drug problems. CM gives rewards for staying drug-free and has worked in other settings, but hasn't been tried by JPOs before. The study involved 310 teens and measured drug use through urine tests and self-reports over 9 months.
