Summary

This study aims to understand what causes depression in teenagers and how the brain changes with it. It will compare teens with depression to those without, and offer free talk therapy and optional medication for up to 25 weeks. The study is for depressed teens aged 11-17 in the Washington DC area and involves interviews, computer tasks, and brain scans.
