Summary
This study tested whether using online tools like YouTube, TikTok, and resource links can help sexual and gender minority youth (ages 14-19) seek help for depression and anxiety. 81 teens joined a private Discord group for 4 weeks, with different groups getting different combinations of tools. Surveys before and after measured how much they intended to seek help from a counselor or therapist.
