Deep heat therapy trial aims to help patients 'Feel' their neck again

NCT ID NCT07289607

Summary

This study is testing whether a treatment called TECAR therapy can help improve joint position sense (proprioception) in people with cervical radiculopathy, a condition involving pain from a pinched nerve in the neck. Researchers will compare standard physical therapy alone to physical therapy plus TECAR therapy, which uses deep heat to improve blood flow and nerve function. The goal is to see if adding this treatment helps patients better sense their neck's position, reduces pain, and improves daily function.
