New therapy trial offers hope for men suffering chronic pelvic pain
NCT ID NCT07324239
Summary
This study is testing whether TECAR therapy, a type of electrical treatment, can help reduce pain and improve quality of life for men with chronic prostatitis and pelvic pain. Researchers will compare real TECAR therapy against a fake treatment in 60 men, all of whom will also receive lifestyle and diet advice. The goal is to see if this therapy can ease symptoms like pain, sleep problems, and urinary issues that affect daily life.
