First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether a gentle, non-invasive electrical stimulation on specific points on the hands can help people with severe brain injury improve their level of consciousness. The treatment is based on traditional Chinese medicine but uses modern technology. The study will involve 160 adults and compare the real stimulation to a placebo to see if it truly helps.
