Summary
This study tested a training program for teachers in Tanzania, Uganda, and Ghana aimed at reducing violence against students. The program taught teachers non-violent ways to manage classrooms and aimed to change attitudes that accept violence as a discipline method. Researchers measured if the training led to less violence and improved students' mental health and school performance over 18 months.
