First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a gentle electrical current applied to the scalp (tDCS) before computer-based thinking exercises can improve memory, attention, and planning in people with schizophrenia. 120 adults will receive either real or fake stimulation over three weeks. Researchers will measure changes in thinking skills right after treatment and again two months later.
