New drug aims to quiet uncontrollable movements in tardive dyskinesia

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug, NBI-1065890, against a placebo in 100 adults with tardive dyskinesia (uncontrollable movements) caused by psychiatric medications. Participants must have schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or similar conditions. The main goal is to see if the drug reduces abnormal movements after 8 weeks. This is a phase 2 trial, so it's still early in testing.
