Summary
This study checked whether the tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) is present in the Limousin region of France. Researchers tested blood samples from 878 people who had a positive Lyme test or symptoms of brain swelling. They also looked for the virus in spinal fluid when available. The goal was to find out if TBEV is circulating in the area.
