One-Month TB prevention pill could beat Three-Month regimen in High-Risk groups

Summary

This study tests if a one-month daily TB prevention treatment works as well as a three-month weekly one in people with HIV and in HIV-negative household contacts of TB patients. The goal is to see which approach leads to better treatment completion and fewer side effects. About 1,000 participants in South Africa and India are involved.
