First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study will test 250 people with tuberculosis (TB) to see how many have drug-resistant strains. Using special tests called GeneXpert, researchers will identify resistance to key drugs like Rifampicin. They will also look for risk factors such as diabetes or drug addiction that may make resistance more likely. The goal is to improve treatment choices and control the spread of resistant TB.
