First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares two new TB tests (Pluslife MTBC and Ustar PortNAT) to the current standard test (Xpert Ultra) in Pakistan. About 6,100 people aged 12 and older who are screened for TB will provide samples like tongue swabs and sputum. The goal is to see if the new tests are faster, cheaper, and easier to use while still being accurate.
