First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a mild electrical stimulation on the ear (transauricular vagal nerve stimulation) can change how healthy people sense internal body signals like pain, heartbeat, and temperature. Fifty healthy adults aged 18-60 took part. The goal was to understand the effects better, not to treat any disease.
